No. Some memory foam mattresses are vacuum-packed and may release a temporary odour due to materials such as polyurethane. This is usually harmless and normally disappears within 48 hours when the mattress is aired in a well-ventilated room.

Yes. Our mattresses are designed to comply with applicable UK fire resistance regulations for safety and quality assurance.

Assembly may be available for selected divan beds, subject to product type, size, location, and service availability.

Flat-packed products, including some ottoman and storage beds, may require self-assembly after delivery.

• Small Single 2FT6 and Single 3FT: the base may be delivered in one piece.
• Sizes above Single: the base is usually delivered in two parts.
• The headboard and castors or gliders usually require attaching after delivery.

• Base without storage: approximately 40 kg.
• Base with drawers: approximately 50 kg.

Divan beds are generally designed to support approximately 25–30 stone / 158–190 kg per side, making them suitable for most users.

Drawer storage capacity is approximately 60 cm length x 40 cm width x 25 cm depth per drawer. This is suitable for bedding, clothing, and everyday essentials.

The total height is usually approximately 100 cm from the floor to the top of the headboard.

The divan base height is usually approximately 35 cm / 12 inches.

Next-day delivery may be available on selected products and locations. Orders placed before 12 pm UK time are more likely to be eligible for next-day service, subject to stock and courier availability.

Orders placed after 12 pm may not be processed in time for next-day delivery.

We may not provide disposal services for old beds or mattresses unless this service is clearly offered at checkout or agreed before delivery. For disposal support, we recommend contacting your local council, who may be able to arrange collection.

Orders can take around 30–40 minutes to process before appearing in the system. Once processed, you should receive an automated email with your order details or delivery instructions.

If it has been more than 24 hours since you placed your order, please contact our support team with your order details so we can investigate.

Once the gas piston is attached to the arm and bed frame, make sure the bed is in the lifted position.

1. Hold both sides of the bed and apply even pressure.
2. Push down firmly until you hear a click. This usually confirms activation.
